Spiritual progress is not defined by the handful of external limitations you’ve set upon yourself in the name of a higher calling.
Achieving a higher purpose in life happens when those things that still hold your mind hostage are captured and destroyed.
It’s funny how when I’ve given certain things up, people applaud me, but what they really don’t see is how weak my mind still is and if they did, they would know better than to applaud my few external changes.
This is a note to myself: DON’T LET YOUR MIND PLAY TRICKS ON YOU.
Success is available, I merely need to access it through awareness and appropriate action.
