Enlightened Beings & Me

Enlightened beings are souls who have realized themselves - or gotten in touch with the source within to unleash infinite Bliss and guarantee liberation from all things material.

They walk amongst us, yet are not one of us. I have encountered at least 4 such people in my life, that I am aware of.

Two of them I have had the privilege of knowing personally and they have accepted me as their disciples.

The other two are beautiful entities whom I have admired from afar and appreciate the work and purpose of their being.

An enlightened being is someone who has overcome desire completely. They may be engaged in the same actions as us, but they are not involved in them. For example, an Enlightened Being in their human and very approachable form will be having breakfast. But guess what? They are still only eating and drinking the nectar of the soul.

It’s a simple analogy but it’s something that cannot be understood even if explained by the most fluent of descriptive orators. The truth is real. The truth is within us. The truth is dying to be unleashed from within us. We just have to let it. How? By being a witness to all our actions - we must pretend that we are also Enlightened so that slowly we begin to learn it while unlearning the materialism that we’ve adopted as our “human nature.”

This is more or less a note to myself to wake up and smell the beautiful Bliss within. I love you all. Om.
