Rickshaw accident
The funny part of this post is that the rickshaw accident from earlier this morning was nearly a non-event - I almost didn’t write about it. The drivers here are crazy and people cut one another off on a regular basis. If you’ve experienced the worst NYC traffic in peak hours, that’s a breeze compared to driving in Bombay at any time of the day.

Actress to Dhaval: I would really appreciate it if you removed my full name from the description of the "video name withheld" youtube video. I understand you wanting to share your work online however I do not want my name associated with the video. The video comes up whenever people do google searches and given I'm in a completely different profession I dont want existing or future employers seeing me in that video. This is the second email I have sent you regarding this. I never signed a release and so given the circumstances you should honor my request. I dont want to make this a bigger issue than it is. My sister and I just ate at this place called “Little Italy” in Kandivali. It’s a chain of 100% vegetarian restaurants that started in the Juhu section of Mumbai. They serve alcohol at these establishments so that aspect of it is the only non-Jain aspect about the restaurant.

The last time I went to Samrat was in 1989.
I went back yesterday afternoon and had an amazing lunch. I had rumali roti, paneer with green peppers, masala papad and a fresh lime soda.
